In League with Mr. Darcy is now an Audiobook

It’s been a wild and crazy start to the school year. Behind the scenes, I’ve been busy putting together something new for you.

Love, laughter, and matchmaking skullduggery have come to audio!

It’s an audiobook!

Narrator Benjamin Fife skillfully brings this fun story to life. His specialty is fantasy-adventure, and thus he has the chops to deliver a rollicking good listen.

Mr. Darcy, the ogre

In-love-against-her-will Elizabeth Bennet

Snippy, ambitious Caroline Bingley

Top-lofty (and equally ambitious) Mr. Elton

Your Jane Austen friends come off the page to entertain and delight.

In League with Mr. Darcy is available at most audiobook outlets

These include Audible, Sribd, Chirp, AudiobooksNow, and (eventually) Spotify.

Scribd is especially intriguing. Like Kindle Unlimited, it has a reasonable monthly subscription, enabling you to do a lot of listening. It’s the Netflix for audiobooks!

The other great thing about “wide” distribution is that my audiobooks are listed in five different library catalogues. If you’d like this audiobook, why not request that your librarian order it?

But wait, there’s more!

Did you notice I said “audiobooks”? The audio edition of As Only Mr. Darcy Can has just passed quality control. Hooray! Soon it too will appear at 45 audiobook distributors. Audible takes longer, but As Only will be available there as well.

Coming soon, a Christmas novella for you!

That’s right, a new Darcy and Elizabeth story from yours truly.

If all goes according to plan–famous last words, right? –on November 1st, Step Lively Mr. Darcy will be published.

The design team is putting the finishing touches on the cover. It’s exquisite! And Benny Fife has done a wonderful job in voicing the story.

Stay tuned.

  1. It’s a great read in book form, so why not let someone else do all the work? Chore time can be fun!

    1. Thanks for the vote of confidence, Sue!

While I enjoy reading aloud my students’ stories, I know better than to attempt an audiobook. Too many moving parts to juggle. I am happy to give over that task to a professional.

    1. I decided to take a leap, Jennifer, with the audiobooks.

Then too, I needed a tax deduction. So we’ll see. I think listeners will enjoy them.

Investing in one’s own business is not for the faint of heart. It’s a new world for me.
