As for the new audiobook, In Want of a Wife (from A Very Austen Noel) is waiting for you at YouTube — free. Narrator Benjamin Fife brings this entertaining story to life as only he can. I’ll put the link below. You’ll find this novella at most audiobook outlets (except Audible), and you can probably request it from your public library as well.

John Knightley gave a crow of delight. “You have a widow, and we have a widower.”

Mr. Darcy cannot believe his ears. Will John Knightley’s suggestion solve his troubles with his widowed mother-in-law? Could it be so staggeringly simple? Never mind that old Mr. Woodhouse does not wish for another wife. Or that Mrs. Bennet thinks only of finding husbands for her daughters. If Darcy and the Knightley brothers can put together this match, their problems will be solved.

However, what sounded simple over sirloin and port proves to be a massive challenge. None of the men can breathe a word to their wives, or all will be lost. Dear, oh dear.

Come to Highbury for Christmas and enjoy a merry dance of wits. Matchmaking husbands and oh-so-suspicious young wives make for a delightful Christmastime romp.

Speaking of YouTube, I’ll add a “shameless begging” request. My YouTube channel has been growing, and I am grateful for each and every subscriber. Would you like to help me out?

In production for June is Sir Walter Takes a Wife from A Very Austen Valentine. It’s such a fun romp. Stay tuned!
